On-Site Live Stamping

HOW IT WORKS ON SITE

The station is designed to be plug-and-play for the event planner. Here is what we need and what guests get.

• FOOTPRINT:
  One 6-foot table and roughly an 8 x 6 ft area for the press, product display and a short queue. We can work with a supplied table or bring our own.
• POWER:
  One standard 120V outlet within reach of the station. The press draws about the same as a small appliance.
• STAFFING:
  One or two Corium artisans run the station end to end. No client or venue staff needed, though a host to greet guests is welcome.
• GUEST THROUGHPUT:
  Roughly one personalized piece every 60 to 90 seconds per press, or about 40 to 60 guests an hour. Larger events get a second press.
• LEAD TIME:
  Book three to four weeks ahead where possible so products can be ordered and, if wanted, pre-debossed with the event logo. Shorter notice is often workable; ask.
• THE PRODUCTS:
  Any Corium item with a suitable imprint area works. Popular choices: luggage tags and passport wallets, key fobs, coasters, card sleeves and slim wallets. Products are ordered in advance at standard distributor pricing and can carry the event or sponsor logo before we arrive.

EVENT PRICING & DETAILS

Here is a breakdown of our on-site personalization service rates. All listed pricing is net to the distributor; mark up as you would any service.

• Starting Rates:
    Weekday Events: $3,000 + cost of products.
    Weekend Events: $5,000 + cost of products.

• Custom Quotes Required:
    Base pricing applies standard events up to 50 guests.Final rates will be re-quoted depending on your event duration and group size.

• Travel & Lodging:
    Airfare and hotel accommodations are not included and will be quoted separately based on your location.

• What the Rate Includes:
    Our press and tooling, our artisans for the event window, station setup and teardown, and the type dies for names and initials. A custom event or sponsor logo die is $100(V), the same as any Corium order.

• Product:
    Leather goods are ordered in advance at standard distributor pricing (24-piece minimum per item) and shipped to the venue or brought with us.

THE CREATION PROCESS

Attendees will be able to customize our premium products with their name, initials, or logo, which will be stamped directly into the leather. They will not only be creating something absolutely unique but also making a fun memory from the event.

• FOIL COLORS:
  Natural (Blind Deboss), Gold Foil, Silver Foil.
• HARDWARE COLORS:
  Choice of three metallic finishes - Silver, Antique, and Gold.

LIVE STAMPING FAQ

• Is this the same as live monogramming or live embossing?
  Yes. Different distributors call it live stamping, live monogramming, live debossing or hot stamping. Our process presses the name, initials or logo into full-grain leather with a heated die, blind or with gold or silver foil.
• How many guests can you handle?
  Base pricing covers events up to 50 guests. Larger groups are quoted with a second press and artisan; tell us the expected headcount and the event window and we will size the station.
• Can guests choose from several products?
  Yes. Most activations offer two or three items in a couple of colors. A tighter menu keeps the line moving.
• Can the sponsor logo go on the piece too?
  Yes. Products can be debossed with the event or sponsor logo in our Minneapolis factory before the event, and personalized with initials on site.
• Do you sell this direct to the client?
  No. Live stamping, like everything at Corium, is sold only through ASI, PPAI and SAGE distributors. The client sees your name, not ours, unless you want us to co-present.
• Where do you travel?
  Anywhere in the US. Travel and lodging are quoted separately based on the venue.
