Distributors do not sell coasters; they sell programs. A buyer comes with an onboarding kit to fill, an incentive trip to gift, a property to furnish or a milestone to mark, and the product has to fit the program. This guide goes program by program through the four briefs where full-grain leather does the most work, with the Corium pieces that fit each, the decoration that suits it, and the quantity and timing notes that make the quote easy. Everything here is made in our Minneapolis factory, has a 24-piece minimum, and ships in about 10 business days.

1. Onboarding and new-hire kits

The brief. A box that lands on a new hire’s desk, or at their home if they are remote, on day one. The client wants it to feel like the company, not like a giveaway, and they want to reorder it in small lots all year.

The pieces. A coaster for the desk, a cord keeper or cord taco for the laptop bag, a key fob for the badge or the office key, and a journal cover or desk jotter for the first week of meetings. Together they are a kit; individually they are the pieces the hire is still using a year later.

Decoration. Company logo, blind-debossed. Foil works on the journal cover if the brand color calls for it. Add the hire’s initials to one piece (the journal cover is the usual choice) and the kit goes from standard-issue to personal.

Quantity and timing. Onboarding runs as a standing program: an initial order of 100 to 250 to stock the kit, then reorders in lots of 24 and up. We keep the die, so reorders re-set up for $31.25(V). Blind drop shipping to remote hires is available on every order.

2. Incentive travel and sales clubs

The brief. The winners of a sales contest or the members of a President’s Club are going somewhere. The client wants a gift that is part of the trip, not a trophy that stays home.

The pieces. The classic set is a luggage tag and passport wallet, sent before the trip so they go on the bag and in the pocket for the journey. Add a dopp kit or travel pouch for the higher tier, and a wine bottle tote for the welcome gift in the room.

Decoration. Program logo (the club or contest name, not the corporate logo) on the front, winner’s initials inside or on the back. Gold foil on Chocolate or Navy is the recognition look; blind deboss reads as a travel piece. For the trip itself, on-site live stamping at the welcome reception is the activation version of the same idea.

Quantity and timing. Typically 24 to 250 pieces, with a hard in-hands date tied to departure. Send artwork and the winner list at least three weeks out; pieces ship within 10 business days of approval and can be drop shipped to each winner or delivered as one carton to the event team.

3. Hospitality and property amenities

The brief. A hotel group, private club, restaurant or multifamily operator wants a leather piece in every room or at every table, in a material that gets better with handling rather than worse.

The pieces. Valet trays for the nightstand, coasters for the bar and the room, placemats and napkin rings for the table, glass sleeves for the bar program. For the guest-facing gift shop or the welcome amenity, a key fob or card sleeve with the property crest.

Decoration. The property crest, blind or foil, matched to the room palette; Chocolate and Black are the hospitality defaults, Emerald Green and Navy carry a brand color. Because the mark is pressed into the leather, it survives daily handling and housekeeping without peeling.

Quantity and timing. Room-count programs run from a few hundred pieces to thousands across a portfolio; orders over 500 are quoted individually, and owning the factory lets us hold the same product across a multi-property rollout. If the standard size does not fit the nightstand, custom manufacturing can size it.

4. Recognition, milestones and board gifts

The brief. Service anniversaries, retirements, board appointments, President’s Club, a deal closed. The quantity is small and the piece has to feel expensive because it is well made.

The pieces. A large desk mat, a portfolio, an all-leather dopp kit, a double wine carrier, or a valet tray with the crest. Browse the awards and recognition collection for the pieces we see ordered most for this brief.

Decoration. The recipient’s initials or name, blind-debossed, with the organization’s crest secondary; or gold foil on the crest for a formal milestone. Both are stamped individually from the list you send.

Quantity and timing. The 24-piece minimum covers a board of nine plus the executive team, or a year’s worth of service anniversaries ordered up front. Ask about the branded gift box when the gift is presented in person.

Quoting any of the four

Send the product, color, quantity, in-hands date and a vector logo (.ai, .eps or .svg) to sales@coriumusa.com; we return a quote and a virtual proof. Tooling and setup is $100(V) per logo. Pricing breaks at 24, 100, 250 and 500 pieces. Unbranded samples are available to distributors at EQP so the client can hold the piece before committing. Every program above is sold only through ASI, PPAI and SAGE distributors; details are on our how to order page, and the full line is on our USA-made leather promotional products page.
